PLEASE NOTE: This opening is for a NIGHT shift maintenance position. Candidates must be able to complete up to 8 weeks of training on a morning shift schedule ranging from 5a to 8am start time.
Summary: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining equipment across multiple locations within one-hour radius. Maintenance will include a variety of preventative maintenance, unplanned down time, planned down time, and emergency repairs.
Essential Functions

- Responsive to preventative maintenance plans, maintaining accurate scheduled PMs
- Maintain and repair hydraulic valves/equipment
- Maintain and repair pneumatic valves/equipment
- Maintain and repair machinery using electrical schematics
- Maintain clean working environment within maintenance shop, as well as plant floor spills, oils, etc.
- Assist in performing mold and die changes as needed using proper equipment (forklift)
- Replace heaters and paper on bag sealers using in production process
- Assist with machine settings for plastic and rubber extrusion process
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment failures

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to traverse throughout the plant floor; routinely operate and inspect production equipment and repetitively use fine motor skills to perform repairs, as well as utilize hand-eye coordination. The employee is regularly required to position themselves to move materials and containers, remain upright or stationary, and transport material up to 75 pounds with and without the use of a pallet jack or other equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical wiring, forklift traffic, and heavy machinery.
