POSITION: Monarch Investment is actively interviewing qualified maintenance candidates for an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team to support Mesa Ridge in Albuquerque New Mexico.
PAY: Up to $18hr plus bonuses: Up to $750 every 3 months and $100 bonus for on-call weeks (minimum 1.5hrs time when on-call)
SCHEDULE: M-F 8-5PM 40hrs a week

What You Will Be Doing:

• Assists in completing work orders assigned to them in a timely manner based on priority
• Assists in Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenant occupancy
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
• Maintaining grounds (Assists when a groundskeeper is utilized)
• Assists in preventative maintenance as assigned
• Assists in maintaining and keeping a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas
• Assists in exterior structural maintenance as needed
• May assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members
• Assist in pool maintenance (where applicable) • Other duties and special projects as assigned

What You Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months’ experience in general maintenance
• Some dry walling experience including painting and carpentry
• Boiler and pool experience preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
• Have good verbal and written communication
• Problem solving skills
• Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
• Be willing to go through basic training within 30/days
