Location: Aurora,IL
1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
2nd Shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00/Hr.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-reliance and initiative in completing tasks.
- Utilize acquired training and experience in one or more maintenance trades to perform tasks typically required of a journeyman.
- Supervise the work of one or more subordinates, ensuring quality and efficiency in their tasks.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of technical training and 4 plus years of hands-on experience or equivalent.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures to maintain a secure and productive work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Position Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude, including familiarity with basic hand tools.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Mastery in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical energy systems.
- Capability to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders frequently during work shifts.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments with accuracy.
- Willingness and physical capability to perform repetitive bending, kneeling, and lifting of cumbersome and heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, shop, and safety rules.
- Working with 480VAC electrical systems.
- Experience with 48 – 24 AC/DC control voltage.
- Familiarity with PLC systems, specifically Allen Bradley (AB) and Siemens.
- Proficiency in hydraulic systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
