SUMMARY

Under general supervision of the Facilities Manager, perform custodial duties to include overall Main Office grounds, maintenance and repair functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Clean restrooms and keep supplied.

Deliver supplies to all offices.

Service Maintenance needs at all facilities.

Change light bulbs and light ballasts.

Ensure that snow / debris from parking lots and sidewalks are removed.

Build shelves, put together furniture and repair furniture as needed.

Maintain vehicles, lawnmowers, and snow removal equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance procedures on buildings mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.

Collect and dispose of trash, follow guidelines for collection and storage of good trash.

Assist with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; plaster and drywall repair; and painting of building structures, as able to.

Perform minor and major repair of building's heating/cooling equipment. (Major repairs are performed under the supervision of licensed workers.)

Receive shipments and store.

Cleaning: sweep, mop, scrub, floors by hand or machine, clean carpet, upholstery and furniture.

Wash windows as needed.

Requirements

 QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCELANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver's License


OTHER KNOWLEDGE AND/OR SKILLS

General knowledge of bank operations, lending and information technology. Previous experience with, and efficiency in using Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel. Has good organization skills, is computer literate, has good communication skills, is observant and able to document procedures, looks for ways to improve processes and minimize duplicate work and is detail oriented.

Ability to use computer for long periods of time and there will be heavy telephone use. This person may also be required to work at other banking centers.
