Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of our facilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions
- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of building systems
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to fabricate and weld when necessary
- Basic electrical knowledge is preferred
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance is a plus

Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically
- Strong leadership abilities to supervise maintenance projects
- Customer service-oriented mindset with good communication skills
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus

Pay: $20.41 - $27.00 per hour
