Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned maintenance professional to become a pivotal part of our team. The individual in this role will assist in the inspections of machinery to ensure optimal operation, diagnosing machinery issues, and utilizing a multimeter for both low and high-voltage assessments. The individual would have proficiency or familiarity with PLC. In addition, a robust comprehension of 460 3ph is crucial, as it is the predominant voltage of our facility. The ideal candidate for this role will have the enthusiasm for continuous learning, skill development, advancement, and growth within the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) services on a machinery
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with punch-style machines
Undertake regular building maintenance tasks
Assist machine operations to optimize equipment operations
Execute light fabrication and welding tasks
Manage machine overhauls by replacing or rebuilding parts as necessary
Perform minor electrical tasks, including installation, and maintenance of outlets and switches
Qualifications
The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Proficient knowledge of electrical systems and principles
Proficiency in using essential hand tools
Expertise in troubleshooting and diagnostics
Safety-conscious with a keen eye for detail and the ability to learn rapidly
Physically agile: capable of standing, walking, manipulating tools, reaching, and effectively communicating in a noisy setting
Possess the flexibility to kneel, stoop, and crouch as needed
Demonstrate the ability to consistently lift and transport items weighing 60 to 80 lbs, with the occasional ability to manage objects up to 100 lbs
The work environment is primarily indoors and will at times be exposed to natural weather elements such as heat, cold, sunlight, darkness, wind, rain, lightning, snow, and dust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Compensation & Benefits
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
