What you’ll be doing:
- Conducting routine inspections of CNC machines to identify and rectify mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues.
- Performing preventive maintenance tasks to uphold the optimal functioning of the machines.
- Promptly diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems to minimize production downtime.
- Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams to address and resolve complex machinery issues.
- Executing necessary repairs and part replacements to restore CNC machines to their proper working condition.
- Coordinating with external vendors for specialized repairs and procuring necessary replacement parts.
- Maintaining accurate records of machine maintenance activities, including repair logs and preventive maintenance schedules.
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a CNC machine shop or similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work OT and Saturdays as needed
- Knowledge of CNC machine operations and programming is a plus.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
