Bridgeway Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Technician to part of our caring, community-based health and human services organization team.
The Maintenance Technician performs mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs along preventive maintenance. This is a mid-level position designed for those who wish to continue developing their skills and continue their career journey in the maintenance field. - Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
- Performs maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair light fixtures)
- Inspects heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality (inspect HVAC and replace filters, install faucets, sinks, and toilets)
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace doors, etc.)
- Conduct general upkeep procedures (drywall, painting, carpentry etc.)
Our minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED. One or more years of experience in general maintenance or facilities maintenance. Must be able to work autonomous. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to meet our insurability standards.
