Position Overview: As an Experienced Maintenance Technician at Alpha Capital Funds, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our real estate properties. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills will contribute to creating a safe, comfortable, and attractive living and working environment for our residents and tenants.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of various systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical, to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies from residents, tenants, and property managers, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment and systems and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex maintenance issues, utilizing your in-depth understanding of building systems and components.
• Coordinate with property management to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to residents and tenants.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment, making recommendations for restocking as needed.
• Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services, ensuring high-quality work and compliance with safety standards.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and expenses, providing regular reports to management.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in training and mentoring junior maintenance staff, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster skill development.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in residential and/or commercial properties.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in maintenance.
• Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment, as well as computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure, particularly during emergencies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, tenants, colleagues, and contractors.
• Time management skills to effectively prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Certification in relevant maintenance areas (e.g., HVAC, electrical) is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug test
