Maintenance Technician

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of equipment performed on time with no extensions.
• Maintenance scheduling without any interruption of production capacity.
• Parts and supplies obtained prior to preventive maintenance due date.
• Communication with production personnel to get feedback about equipment performance as well as to provide feedback about maintenance performed.
• Seek help to complete the tasks, if problems arise, to complete the task on time.
• Identify potential opportunities for better utilization of SiC growth furnaces and bring them to attention of area process engineers, supervisors or operators for better performance.
• Review of SiC growth furnace history to update maintenance schedule

Education & Experience

• Minimum 3 yr. experience as technician.
• Associate or working toward a college degree required.

• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.

Safety Requirements

All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. EHS standards.
