Summary:
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all the machinery and facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Implement and follow the Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule
- Process work orders efficiently and effectively
- Troubleshooting machine issues (production)
- Disassemble old equipment to recycle parts
- Repair electrical, mechanical and machines as needed
- Maintain the parts inventory in a need and orderly fashion
- Provide snow removal and salting when necessary
- Provide support to other technicians when someone is off duty
- Other duties may be assigned

Education and Experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Can perform maintenance on machines, electrical and the building
- Machining abilities
- Min. 5 years experience in electronics/electrical work
- Working knowledge of compressors, chillers, welding, grinding, sodering
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Experience in rigging, snow removal, salting
- Fork lift license
Language Skills
Ability to clearly and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and peers, in English, over telephone and in writing.
Computer Skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Radius a plus.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and see. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee will occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific visions abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Able to work at various heights both inside and outside. Comfortable working in confined spaces.
