Maintenance Technician - 2Nd Shift

Chief Buildings is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for both our second shift to join the Chief team. This position performs various machine repair installation and maintenance functions on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic manufacturing equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, relocate, or remove from service new and existing equipment
• Make repairs and perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment such as motors, production machines, engines, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Accurately read blueprints, schematics, micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and wiring diagrams in making repair and adjustments
• Knowledgeable in the area of construction processing plumbing, concrete, and carpentry skills for building repair or reconstruction
• Wiring electrical circuits and controls; troubleshoot electrical problems
• Create part list for requisition of parts and supplies needed for projects to Tool Crib attendant to carry out repairs or installation

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

• Requires knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment usually gained in 3-5 years of experience and equivalent technical education
• Welding and fabrication preferred
• Capable of working with minimum supervision

Shift:

• 2nd Shift - 4:30pm - 3:00am
