Salary- Maintain spreaders bars and chains for moving production chillers.
- Utilize large overhead cranes to move production chillers.
- Utilize a forklift to move equipment.
- Preventative maintenance of all plant equipment.
- Assist the production departments with 5S projects.
- Support Maintenance Technician with minor mechanical repairs to plant equipment
- Use standard formats to audit the autonomous maintenance done by operators.
- Give training to operators to improve the effectiveness of autonomous maintenance.
- Ensure applicable activities that help achieve EHS & JCMS goals and metrics.
- Participate in EHS & JCMS observations program.
- Maintain security policy, health, and environment at work.
- Participate in Training program.
- Assist in defining corrective and preventive actions.
- Control system logs in your area.
- Intervene personally to identify and correct unsafe acts and recognize safe behavior
- Identify and report potential environmental impacts
- Report all injuries, almost accidents, unsafe acts / conditions and occupational health problems and take the necessary corrective measures, as well as support in the investigation.
- Support and comply with all security practices, systems and rules established in the company.
- Keep the areas clean and tidy, maintaining the 5S standards.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment.
- Review and participate in risk assessments ensuring the level of alertness in their areas when working with materials and chemicals.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Requires a minimum of two years experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred:
- Associates Degree or higher education preferred but not required
- Computer literate
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
