Quanex is looking for a Maintenance Technician for our day shift to join our team located in Foreston, Minnesota.
In this role, you will maintain manufacturing equipment and the facility to maximize uptime at the least cost to production related goals.

What’s attractive about the Maintenance Technician?
- Hours & Pay w/ overtime potential:
- 5:00 am to 3:30 pm - $20.50-$30.50 per hour
- Position Location: St. Cloud, Minnesota
What Success Looks Like:
- Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
- Assist in design, install, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul production equipment.
- Train machine operators in preventive maintenance procedures.
- Assist in plant layout and design.
- Determines the maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns and major overhauls.
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Strong mechanical ability and electrical systems knowledge
- Welding and shop experience
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, tooling, and woodworking equipment
- Knowledge of safety and environmental practices, regulations and procedures
- Good communication skills
- Computer literate
