Job Description
Essential Duties
- Support the safety of the people and facility by managing the building security as needed.
- Use appropriate measures to keep production lines running without compromising safety.
- Establish annual budget and manage the monthly budget to support the facility.
- Source key replacement parts to support the facility.
- Maintain smooth production schedules by maintaining and improving current PM schedule.
- Support Engineering and Production in the development of test equipment and aid in the development of new process projects and acquisitions where appropriate.
- Apply corrective action to issues raised in a daily analysis meeting where appropriate.
- Provide strong leadership for department and communicate a strategic vision for organization.
- Recruit, retain, and lead department workforce. Conduct performance evaluations for subordinate personnel to ensure a well-qualified and motivated department.
- Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being an owner of the company.
- Required to follow safety standards. Required to wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
- Work attendance must be exemplary.
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in maintenance
- 3 or more years’ experience in two of the following:
- preventative maintenance
- tooling or welding processes
- electrical processes
- fluid power
- motor controls/relays
- HVAC
- Experience in a leadership position or leading a project/group in the past.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Lean manufacturing principles and implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer experience in Microsoft Office Applications as well as email and web-based applications required.
