Maintenance Supervisor - Day Shift

Adecco Search has partnered with one of their favorite clients in hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor. The position is on Day Shift, competative salary and benfits!
Responsibilities: As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our mill operations. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Leadership and Team Management:
   
   • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
2. Maintenance Planning and Execution:
   
   • Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance, minimize downtime, and extend the lifespan of machinery.
   • Oversee the execution of routine maintenance tasks and repairs on machinery and equipment.
3. Regulatory Compliance:
   
   • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
   • Implement and oversee maintenance processes that align with regulatory requirements.
4. Equipment Optimization:
   
   • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance, enhance efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Inventory and Resource Management:
   
   • Manage the inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies for maintenance activities.
   • Optimize resource allocation to meet maintenance goals and budget constraints.
6. Training and Development:
   
   • Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills and keep them abreast of industry best practices.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an industrial setting, preferably within the forest industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of technicians.
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance processes, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Technical proficiency in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
