Job Description
Responsibilities: As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our mill operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
- Maintenance Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance, minimize downtime, and extend the lifespan of machinery.
- Oversee the execution of routine maintenance tasks and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
- Implement and oversee maintenance processes that align with regulatory requirements.
- Equipment Optimization:
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance, enhance efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Inventory and Resource Management:
- Manage the inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies for maintenance activities.
- Optimize resource allocation to meet maintenance goals and budget constraints.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills and keep them abreast of industry best practices.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an industrial setting, preferably within the forest industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of technicians.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance processes, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Technical proficiency in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
