Maintenance Superintendent

SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent for its client in Foreman, AR. Relocation is offered for this role. This individual would be responsible for coordinating and supervising the maintenance, repair, and all preventive maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Proven track record of motivating and influencing job performance through goal-setting and constructive feedback.

· Experience in evaluating employee performance.

· Strong collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate with other department superintendents and managers on maintenance projects and priorities.

· Ability to investigate and resolve unusual problems in maintenance projects, including recommending equipment modifications.

· Previous experience in reviewing, planning, scheduling, and supervising maintenance repair, and preventive maintenance activities for a plant.

· Experience in meeting with vendors to discuss and assess new maintenance equipment and supplies.

· Knowledge of plant and MSHA safety rules and regulations.

· Ability to compile records and data on maintenance projects, preparing comprehensive reports for management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or related field preferred.

· 7+ years of experience within maintenance in cement or related industry required.

· Ability to lead and mentor others.

· Prior knowledge of MSHA safety regulations is required.

· Prior knowledge of maintenance techniques and repair procedures.

· Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.

· Willingness to travel as needed.
