Maintenance & Safety Technician

As a Maintenance and Safety Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep of our facilities and promoting a safe environment for our staff and patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of facility equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
• Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and address issues promptly.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs or services.
• Maintain the appearance and safety of outdoor areas, including landscaping, sidewalks, parking lots, and signage.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting to enhance the aesthetics of the facility grounds.
• Review and interpret safety policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or safety-related roles preferred but not required.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret codes, regulations, and policies related to facility maintenance and safety.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various climates and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.
• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday with on-call duties required every 4th week.
