Job description

Equipment lubrication, managing contamination control efforts by maintaining breathers and filters (air and oil), using filter carts and other periodic decontamination technologies. Support Reliability Engineer in CIP and corrective action activities involving equipment modifications and upgrades. Create, write, and review reliability plans and procedures.

Compile reliability and maintainability predictions. Availability analysis. Perform Failure analysis using various Predictive tools- vibration analysis, thermo graphics, ultrasonic hydraulic valve inspections, and oil analysis.

Coordination of inventory and routine ordering of products. Use of tools and equipment for routine and non-routine lubrication functions. Draining, cleaning, changing filters and breathers, filling and maintaining level of hydraulic reservoirs.

Mechanical modification of systems as directed to facilitate lubricant sampling and filtration, and other proactive improvements. Operating filtration equipment. Grease relubrication with manual dispensing equipment Maintenance of dispensing equipment and automatic systems.

Labeling and tagging reservoirs, equipment, inventory, and delivery containers. Safety inspection of guarding, interlocks, lockout tags posted. PLC/HMI backup to secure drive.

Perform Oven data pack inspections and maintain database of previous inspections. Provide training for alternative technicians in cases of non-availability due to vacation or unforeseen circumstances. Printing and fulfilling planned lubrication activities Update scheduling systems, including adding notes to system and requesting work orders for maintenance repairs and activities.

Perform field level oil analysis, including (e.g.) Crackle, Viscosity and Blotter test, as required. Schedule, collect, label and mail lubricant samples with requisite details, for analysis. Perform basic evaluation of oil analysis results and recommend current and future maintenance actions.

Troubleshoot common lubrication-related procedural and equipment problems. Report in writing any discrepancies or conditions that require corrective, predictive or planned maintenance for production systems. Reports any unsafe condition or act immediately to supervision or EHS team member.

Understands company safety. Initiates and acts as facilitator on the floor to promote those initiatives. Completes preventative maintenance sheets issued by scheduler/planner, maintenance lead mechanic, supervisor, or maintenance manager.

Inspects plant equipment for proper working condition and safe operation. Uses CMMS Maintenance System to document work orders. Records all parts needed for repairs to be performed.

May be asked to participate in accident/incident reviews and develop corrective actions. Responsible for housekeeping and 5S in his or her respective area of work or areas as directed by the departmental supervisor. Must have strong internal and external customer service skills and be a team player.

Must be knowledgeable and capable of responding to emergency situations. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals blueprints and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Must be able to read blueprints and use measuring instruments. Must possess an understanding of electronic and mechanical components to troubleshoot and repair. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Must have a basic knowledge of the safe use and care of hand and power tools. Must be able to Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; compute ratio and percent and interpret bar graphs. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Abides by Electrolux's company rules, policies and procedures. Complies with all OSHA safety and health regulations. Other duties as assigned.
