All about the role:
The Reliability Engineer's goal is tominimizes the system's likelihood of failure, whether due to component failure(electrical and mechanical hardware reliability), (software), operator error(human reliability), or process abnormalities (process reliability.
You will serve as the leader of ourReliability Maintenance technicians to troubleshoot machine problems, performall jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve theperformance of the entire Kinston Dishwashers plant in the areas of Safety,Quality and Reliability.
What you'll do:

• Perform equipment lubrication, managing contamination control efforts by maintaining breathers and filters (air and oil), using filter carts and other periodic decontamination technologies.
• Perform Failure analysis using various Predictive tools- vibration analysis, thermo graphics, ultrasonic hydraulic valve inspections, and oil analysis.
• Draining, cleaning, changing filters and breathers, filling and maintaining level of hydraulic reservoirs.
• Mechanical modification of systems as directed to facilitate lubricant sampling and filtration, and other proactive improvements.
• Safety inspection of guarding, interlocks, lockout tags posted.
• PLC/HMI backup to secure drive.
• Provide training for alternative technicians in cases of non-availability due to vacation or unforeseen circumstances.
• Perform basic evaluation of oil analysis results and recommend current and future maintenance actions.
• Report in writing any discrepancies or conditions that require corrective, predictive or planned maintenance for production systems.

Qualificationsrequired:

• Associate degree or diploma(s) in maintenance technology and/ or technical trade certificate.
• 5 plus years' experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and basic electrical repair.
  May be required to work weekends/shutdowns based on set up needs on these machines.

This position will be based at our DishwashersManufacturing Plant in Kinston, NC.
