Expected Starting Rate of pay: $24.20/hour
Shifts Available and Hours: Day Shift
Monday- Friday --Saturday for overtime if necessary
7:00am to 4pm
Job Summary:
The position is responsible for coordinating all maintenance parts and storage activities. This will ensure the inventory control, service parts order, checking inventory level, update record, and prepare reports required by the department’s management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associates degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing plant experience, 2 years of which must be in a maintenance organization.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge/experience with any CMMS systems
- Can perform work without minimal supervision/oversight – self-motivated
- Ability to identify irregularities in inventory movement.
- Possess good written & communication skills in English
- Computer Software and programs: AS400, IMS, CMMS, Oracle,
- Strong knowledge of machine parts
Job Responsibilities:
- Handling of parts documentation
- Responsible for receiving and storage operation
- Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
- Issue purchase requisitions
- Follow-up on purchase orders and verify shipments.
- Track parts and usage to determine strategy and levels of onsite equipment, parts, and stores.
- Assist other staff members in all areas concerning purchasing, receiving, distribution and shipping.
- Recommend modifications of stock levels based on previous consumption and present orders.
- Work with the Maintenance Planner and support kitting implementation
