Could you be the full-time Maintenance of way Chief Engineer in Florida we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your railway expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Steven M. Scruggs, Deputy General Manager and work alongside exceptional, enthusiastic and collaborative teammates.
You'll be creating value as you manage and supervise Track, Bridge, & Building Departments to ensure that the infrastructure under your direction is maintained in order to provide safe and efficient service to our customers . Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with your team to support the company’s strategies by insuring that the Track and Bridge & Building Departments continually achieve the performance expectations set forth or at a minimum constantly shows a measurable improvement toward achieving and/or exceeding the following performance expectations.
We’ll look to you to:
- Provide technical track and bridge & building support for the field forces under your direction.
- Provide periodic inspections in accordance with the FRA requirements to meet service needs
- Work with Department Supervisors to identify risk hazards associated with the safe operations of trains.
