Form of workReporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the daily repairs and preventative maintenance support of manufacturing equipment and related controls.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Completes routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Performs operator changeovers and adjustments as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of maintenance shop.
- Supports building maintenance and repair activities as needed.
- Adheres to quality and safety procedures/regulations.
Requirements
Education and Minimum Years of Experience:
- High School degree or general education degree (GED)
- 2 - 5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in food industry.
Position Requirements:
- Must have knowledge of electrical components and wiring.
- Must possess mechanical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible/adaptable to changes in the manufacturing environment
- Able to work collaboratively across functional boundaries
- Experience in a CMMS environment, preferably MP2
- Intermediate computer skills including; MS Office, Outlook, etc.
- Must have strong communication skills
