Maintenance Mechanic

Overview:
Esparza Enterprises Inc. is searching for a Maintenance Mechanic for one of our customers located in Maricopa, CA. Aa Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Your expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving will be essential in identifying and resolving mechanical issues. Duties:

• Maintain, adjust and operate olive farm machinery such as harvester, tractors, and irrigation systems.
• Test olive oil machinery and equipment to ensure adequate performance.
• Troubleshoot problems when they arise and perform repairs as necessary.
• Apply mechanical knowledge and experience to help keep farm productivity high.
• Complies with GMP procedures
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Any other duties assigned by management

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must be bilingual/Spanish
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role
• At least 2.5 years in the agricultural field of olive farming or olive oil
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some college, continuing education, or other specialized experience
