We are currently hiring a Maintenance Manager that will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing maintenance and technical improvements to production machinery and installations, utilities, internal transport, and facilities. This role leads a team of Maintenance Technicians who provide troubleshooting, repair, and support services in our plant that runs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. As a member of the Plant Management Team, the Maintenance Manager reports to the Operations Director. Occasional travel, after-hours work and on-call assignments will be required as needed.

Primary Duties
- Support engineering and project management during buildouts, upgrades, and improvements, and guarantees ownership and maintenance of new equipment after project close.
- As a member of the Plant Management Team, the manager will contribute to overall plant performance.
- Prepare and execute the plant Maintenance Plan. This will include minimizing downtime, increasing reliability and OEE, coordinating with external vendors, and managing maintenance budget.
- Coach, develop, and monitor the performance of the maintenance/technical service team both in preventive and curative maintenance.
- Optimize efficiency by reducing technical downtime in joint effort with the production team.
- Implement and sustain a continuous improvement culture within the maintenance department.
- Contribute to the safety of the plant and zero-accident culture.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- More than 5 years of management/leadership experience in a maintenance or facilities/technical service role.
- Experience with packaging equipment in a CPG is strongly desired, preferably within food production.
- Full, professional proficiency in English is required; conversational Spanish is helpful.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical components and controls (programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) such as Allen Bradley and/or Siemens), hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
- Must be able to perform work duties following all food safety regulatory practices to include GMP's and FSMA.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field. Master’s degree preferred.
