Maintenance Manager

• The Maintenance Technician motivates, installs accountability, and achieves results to drive success in the position while maintaining our Culture of Activating Awesome! This role provides overall leadership, strategic initiatives on overall safety, and direction on strategic initiatives and operating standards to positively impact business results as it relates to proactive maintenance and savings for the overall building and attractions.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently/Self-Starter
• Knowledge of basic hand/power tools
• Climb ladders, lift equipment
• Cultivate a team environment that provides exceptional guest service while directing the team and ensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program that integrates Urban Air Brand Standards, Local and State Standards, and internal standards as set by Leadership.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for all guests and staff.
• Work with Leadership to maintain licenses, certifications, and inspections on attractions and safety needs of the building. This includes, but is not limited to, ActionCard inspections, State inspections, Attractions certifications, etc.
• Continuously improves operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to Urban Air operating standards and philosophies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years' experience in a maintenance department/workshop.
• Able to pass and thorough background check.
• Brand Ambassador and Culture Champion.
• Must be professional, energetic, self-motivated, able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills; ability to write and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner.
• Willing to learn and adapt to changes or challenges.
• Exercises good judgement in decision making.
• Appreciation of diversity

Additional Requirements:

• Work days, nights, and weekends as required.
• Work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.
• Move about facility and stand for long periods of time.
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Must have regular and predictable attendance.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
