Maintenance Manager

J&J Snack Foods is a recognized leader and innovator in the snack food industry. J&J Snack Foods provides nutritious and affordable branded-niche snack foods to foodservice and retail supermarket outlets across the U.S. Its products include such icons as SUPERPRETZEL and ICEE, fan favorites like Luigi’s Italian Ice, The Funnel Cake Factory Funnel Cakes, and Tio Pepe’s Churros, as well as a host of other products spanning the baked goods, frozen beverage, and frozen novelties categories. This position we seek a highly reliable individual who will be responsible for leading our Maintenance team to a world class status.

Responsibilities Include:

• Establish training and succession roadmaps and work with HR to execute plans.
• Partner with vendors to provide technical training on in-house equipment.
• Rollout electronic work order and PM program for the facility.
• Ensure persistence and escalation process for downtime of critical equipment.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Develop and implement an organized a visual parts management system.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
• Ensure health, GMP and safety policies are complied with.
• Adhere daily PM compliance 90%-95%
• Develop and ensure daily objectives schedule.
• Adhere to Maintenance department OT goal of less than 5%.
• Ensure planned Maintenance at greater than 90% daily.
• Provide reduction in downtime, fixing issues and parts on hand.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in maintenance management role.
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
• Experience in planning maintenance operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members.
• Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
