We are currently hiring a Maintenance Shift Lead (Work Schedule: Mon 12am-6am, Thur-Sat 6pm-6am)
$26-36/hr. 25% Shift Differential

- Supervises all aspects of machine maintenance in the optical manufacturing lab.
- Train all maintenance technicians on regular repairs, calibrations, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Ensures proper operation of equipment by performing scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Performs PM audits to ensure task completion and proper procedures are followed.
- Monitors and completes all required maintenance tasks within a specified timeframe.
- Performs calibration and verify test standards are within required tolerances.
- Manages the repair and calibration of key tools and measurement devices inclusive of general calibration.
- Administers and updates all calibration methods and procedures as required.
- Maintains control and traceability related to tooling inside shop and outside vendors.
- Performs installation of all types of optical equipment and works with engineers as needed.
- Interprets engineering schematics and procedures used during machine diagnostics.
- Supports the operational environment by maintaining an OSHA safety standard.
- Must have background in optical machinery, automotive or maintenance.
- Must be able to read and understand technical data provided for the role.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 12 hours per day per shift schedule)
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach and twist
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Schneider generator and polisher training certificate
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with computer programs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs.
- Forklift and scissor lift operations licensed and able to perform safely (preferred).
