To find out more about our commitment to sustainability and about Amcor, visit www.amcor.com .Job DescriptionJob Requirements:High School diploma and continued educational credits in industrial maintenance 5-10 years work related experience in Hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical fields, with demonstrated leader qualities Strong electrical background with emphasis around controls Proven ability to work safely Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems Ability to make repairs in a timely manner while working under pressure Strong ability to prioritize while remaining flexible with job changes Able to work at all times of the day or night, as required Ability to lead by example with patience and perseverance Ability to research and cross-reference parts and read and understand blue prints Strong organizational skills as well as strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to describe completed repairs in detailJob Description: Purpose of Position:To lead maintenance individuals in maintaining and repairing equipment associated with the facility and production.Equipment Used:Slitters, presses, hand tools, lathes, milling machines, drills, ladders and scissor liftResponsibilities:Research maintenance part supplies and maintain parts inventoryAuthorize purchases of maintenance equipment, not to exceed $5,000 per purchaseAssess and repair equipment as problems arise and/or installation of equipment as neededAttend, participate and lead as needed in maintenance department meetings and other departmental meetings as neededAssist in designating and redesigning of equipmentAssist with Fire Department inspections, monitor security systems and alarms and act as administrator for Sprinkler Control systemSchedule all related safety inspections for most equipment in the facility (i.e., CO2, Sprinkler, etc.)Schedule, delegate and prioritize work load for self and department, and lead key projects as assigned (this includes coverage during vacations and sick days)Conduct employee feedback sessions, in both group and individual settingsAbility to present and train other departments or staff on procedures and maintenance practicesAdditional non-essential duties:Schedule outside contractors Assist other departments with improvement projects Lead by example using organization and planned tasks Ability to complete all Maintenance Technician duties Assist with internal corporate and outside customer audits and visits Our Expectations We expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
