3TG Staffing Solutions is looking for Maintenance Generalist- 2nd Shift for our client.
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Company policies and procedures.
This position has a pay range of $22.31 -$31.36/hr. We currently have open positions for 2nd Shift.
Responsibilities:
- Performing preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
- Lubricating, rebuilding, and replacing parts
- Cleaning machinery
- Assist engineering and plant staff with the specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems
- Provide technical support for all phases of the operation.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to include, but not limited to cross training on other machines and/or in other areas.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of maintenance work experience in a manufacturing facility having previously worked in electrical and mechanical fields or have equivalent technical school experience in those fields.
- Must be willing to work 8-12-hour shifts and up to six days a week
- Applicant must live in the following counties: Floyd, Polk, Haralson, Cherokee+Etowah, and Bartow.
- Proficiency in multiple skill clusters including basic electricity, fluid power, mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Must be able to read equipment manuals, blueprints, etc
- Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
- Must be willing to work in a hot environment with temperatures reaching up to 90 degrees.
- Must be willing to lift up to 50lbs.
- Responsibility (authority) for reporting quality and food safety noncompliance to authorized personnel with authority to initiate action.
