Spring Oak Senior Living is actively seeking a Maintenace Director for our York, SC location! The Maintenace Director will operate under the direction of the Executive Director and/or Corporate Facilities Manager.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, Weekends as needed

Pay: $60,000-$70,000 Salary per Year, Bi-Weekly Pay cycle

General Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Coordinate and perform the tasks needed to maintain the buildings and grounds in a state of good repair and cleanliness ensuring an attractive appearance.

-Plan and organize the overall operation of housekeeping and maintenance in accordance with all current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility.

-Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, residents, families and visitors.

-Coordinate and participate in hiring, disciplining, training and evaluation of staff.

-Develop and recommend policies and procedures for the proper maintenance of the buildings, grounds and equipment.

-Maintain property and equipment in a manner that protects the safety and well­ being of the building, staff, residents and visitors in inclement weather. This includes protecting from floods, ice and snow. (plow, shovel, de-ice etc.)

-Repair equipment or requisition needed services or supplies to maintain facility, staying within the monthly/annual budget.

-Report concerns and notify ED of capital expenses, repairs or services that may go over budget in advance.

-Inspect buildings and grounds weekly and repair items identified as needing repair or replacement promptly.

Job Requirements include and are not limited to:

-Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, crawl, or reach above head for extended periods of time.

-Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, using proper body mechanics.

-Will be exposed to outside elements such as snow, rain, wind, heat, and cold.

-Must have an understanding and compassion for the aging population.

-Must respect resident's privacy and preferences regarding room arrangement, personal items.

-Must demonstrate overall positive image and attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
