pstrongDescription/strong/pulliManage MRO Master Data requests, request include but are not limited to; Part creation/change, Item Specifications and Bills of Material (BOM)./liliProcess request in accordance with current quality standards and business processes./liliPerform technical review and verification of MRO Master Data requests/li/ulpbr /br /strongJob Responsibilities/strong/pulliReconcile requested materials against current materials in inventory using SAP and associated databases for new part creation./liliWork with the original equipment manufacturer/vendor to document material specifications for new part entry and procurement specification creation./liliIdentify replacements materials for items deemed obsolete based on current technical material specifications./liliWalk down mechanical systems using Pamp;IDrsquo;s identifying components and replacement parts./liliEvaluate requests and assess parts for use on equipment/systems prior to putting on BOM.nbsp;/liliManage parts and BOM request required to support site Engineering Projects/liliInitiate Functional Location and Equipment request as required in support of Bill of Material (BOM) creation / development./liliUpdate CMMS with other maintenance master data requests/liliCoordinate and Collaborate with GNE Regional MRO Master Data Team/liliSupport and periodically conduct spare parts audits/liliSupport Change Record, CAPA, and Discrepancy for material master data related activities/liliSupport like-for-like assessments/liliSupport timely completion of work orders for master data updates/li/ulpstrongEducation/strong/pulliAS/BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in related field/liliExperience (may vary depending on site size/scope): Minimum of 4 years of maintenance or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry/li/ulpbr /strongKnowledge/Skills/Competencies/strong/pulliAbility to identify industrial mechanical components (pumps, motors, belts, actuators, bearings, gaskets, seals, etc.) and instrumentation (flow meters, conductivity/resistivity meters, RTD/temp sensors, transmitters, interface modules, etc.) in the field/liliAbility to interpret technical specifications of components, manufacturer and vendor recommendations/liliUnderstand nomenclature for industrial parts and equipment as indicated on Piping and Instrument Drawings (Pamp;IDs)/li/ulpnbsp;/pulliGood understanding and ability to comply with industry standards and cGMP requirements/liliProficiency with computers and applications such as Microsoft Excel, Google Tools and SAP/liliExcellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills ./liliExceptional organization, time management, and attention to detail.
