Overview
The Maintenance Clerk will report directly to the Facility Manager. The position responsibilities include, but are not limited
to, supporting the administrative functions of the maintenance team; maintain accurate information for Maximo and
CMMS; support MRO Buyers and Engineering team as needed.
Responsibilities
Maintains Maintenance & Repair inventory in M&R storerooms and CMMS.
Issue purchase order requests.
Cycle counts M&R critical spares and corrects to established inventory levels.
Work closely with MRO Buyer with parts receipts and confirmations.
Copies, scans, files, etc. documents to CMMS.
Collects completed work orders and inputs them into CMMS/ Maximo/ Gauge Track.
Provides reports as requested by Facilities Manager, Plant Manager, and other
management.
Provide accurate information to Maintenance team as required for work orders, etc.
Enter accurate, current, useful information into CMMS/Maximo.
Maintain/validate floor locations in Maximo of assets.
Support engineering with data entering / charts.
Work on floor with maintenance technician to understand parts functionality.
Qualifications
Ability to perform at a high level without immediate supervision.
Ability to set and follow procedures.
Adept at record keeping, ensuring that information is accurate.
Excellent analytical skills; Ability to collect and analyze data and present findings.
Experience working in an administrative role, industrial/manufacturing, maintenance services, inventory procurement
or ordering parts preferred (but not required).
Knowledge of machine components and their function preferred (but not required).
Self-motivated.
Solid ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely, effective manner.
Strong computer knowledge, ability to learn new computer programs, and knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products
and internet use.
Strong customer service orientation and ability to maintain a professional, friendly demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
