Transdev is looking to hire a dependable and success-driven Maintenance & Parts Clerk to assist our Fleet maintenance team for the LSU transit system. Previous experience in a parts-based work environment is a plus but not necessary. Weekday, Full time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Purpose:
Create purchase orders, verify receipts, labeling, storage, documentation, and security of all parts, and supplies in the parts room. Enters and processes fleet maintenance work orders, daily mileage and fuel usage in online and physical systems.
Responsibilities:
Orders, receives and stocks parts, keeps storage area clean
Purchase order verification in Basware billing system
Provides fleet reports as needed
Manages cores and parts returns
Monitors re-order levels and replenishes stock
Maintains DVIR, files and other fleet related records
Other facility duties as needed
Experienced/Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
Computer literate with strong attention to detail & typing skills.
Excel, Word, Geo-Tab fleet tracking, and other maintenance related programs
Strong ability to prioritize work
Demonstrated ability to build solid relationships
Able to move around the office, lift up to 35lbs, utilize office equipment, access filing systems, communicate effectively and efficiently in person and by telephone
