Form of workStinson LLP seeks a highly motivated Associate Attorney with at least two years of litigation experience to join our Bismarck, North Dakota office, who will regard employment in Bismarck as a long-term commitment.
Excellent writing and research skills and academics are required. Experience in oil and gas is preferred but not required, and clerkship and court experience is a plus. The successful candidate should have the following experience and skills:
- Significant responsibility for pleadings, motions, and briefing on complex matters;
- Proficiency handling e-discovery and fact development;
- The confidence to tackle complex fact, legal, and logistical issues with foresight; and
- The ability to be strategic and analytical.
The role requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, a willingness to learn, and a desire to manage a challenging workload involving high-stakes litigation, administrative hearings, and trial work. We are relentlessly committed to client service and look for candidates who share that commitment.
An active North Dakota license or the ability to become licensed is required.
