Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing and replacing equipment, fixtures, and systems
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning of machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Skills:
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and residents
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Strong electrical knowledge to handle wiring repairs and installations
- Experience in supervising maintenance staff and delegating tasks effectively
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate a team of maintenance personnel
- Ability to fabricate or modify parts as needed for repairs or improvements
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and carpentry
- Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify issues and implement solutions
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with residents or tenants in a professional manner
