Pay: $13.50/hr (+ 10% Shift Differential after 6 PM-$14.85)
MMC is Hiring Mail Processing Clerks to work in Jefferson City!
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sort, count, and process mail as well as other documents received by the project.
- Operates letter openers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, and other office equipment.
- Prepares and organizes documents for scanning.
- Scans, indexes, and validates documents and ensures the quality of images.
- Raises issues of concern and/or problems to the attention of the Mail Processing Supervisor/Lead.
- Accurately completes necessary documentation and data entry activities in all systems.
- Ensures the confidentiality and security of all case information.
- Meets all standards established for this position.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification; ability to follow directions; ability to interact courteously and effectively with a variety of people
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
- 10 key proficiency
- Experience working with scanning equipment and corresponding software preferred
