Mailroom Clerk

We are looking for a mailroom associate for our client that offers a full-time position for 32 hours per week. The work schedule is from Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and pays $17 an hour.

Mail Room Tasks:

Receiving invoices and packing slips from customer service.

Picking customer orders, carefully inspecting and packing them for shipping.

Using computer software to select shipping methods and print labels.

Completing international customs forms and adhering to international requirements.

Learning about the products and their combinations.

Following charts and checklists.

Restocking mailroom shelves with supplies from the Production Department and warehouse.

Purchasing and maintaining inventory of shipping supplies.

Communicating with the team through email and direct interaction.

Keeping track of inventory through monthly counts entered in Excel.

Performing end-of-day reporting and filing.

Maintaining cleanliness in the mailroom and storage areas.

Assisting customer service and production departments as needed.

Supporting other assigned tasks.

Handle tools safely: utility knife, tape gun, and shrink wrap machine

Essential Job Functions:

Must be able to frequently lift up to and including 40lbs throughout the 8-hour shift.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to and including 8 hours.

Must be able to bend, lift, and reach overhead
