Job Title:Mail Support Specialist
Summary:
This position supports the Mail Processing Coordinator specifically and the Inserting Department in general to ensure on time/quality delivery of our services for mail/ship customers. There is an indirect reporting line to the Mail Processing Coordinator.
Essential Position Responsibilities:

• Monitor material/supplies availability and take action to ensure timely job start-up & workflow efficiencies.
• Assemble packages, complete documentation, and meet schedules established for the Terra Nova product.
• Assist with all facets of Quality Assurance within the department.
• Learn and work on production equipment as warranted.
• Complete proper postal/shipping paperwork in support of timely shipments as needed.
• Process daily spread sheets and paperwork for project managers in a timely manner as needed.
• Understand and perform all aspects of post processing and U.S.P.S. defined requirements.
• Adherence and enforcement of all inserting processes, procedures, and quality initiatives
• Complete post-processing paperwork.
• Interact with Project Management, as well as other departments, as an information resource.
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and orderly.
• Assume any of the Mail Processing Coordinator’s responsibilities when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Superior knowledge of U.S.P.S. rules and regulations
• Basic computer skills
• Detail orientated
• Excellent organizational and mathematical skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow defined processes and procedures
• Knowledge of base inserters, folders, cutters, and sheet feeders
• Customer service skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and/or stand for up to 8-hour periods of time
• Ability to push, pull and/or lift 50 pounds or more routinely
