Primary responsibility includes processing and delivery of mail, and occasional paper medical records, for Dean McGee Eye Institute. This function covers several locations across the Oklahoma City metro.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
Prefer one year in healthcare
Competencies/Skills Required
Must have own transportation (Eligible for mileage reimbursement when performing job duties)
Ability to travel to multiple offices if needed (all in Oklahoma City metro area)
Working knowledge of Windows 10
Detail Oriented
Patient/Customer Service Oriented
Effective Verbal Communication, including phone etiquette

Essential Functions
- Process, pick up and deliver mail.
- Pick up and deliver packages.
- Cheerfully answer the telephone and fulfill the requests in accordance with the Institutes policies and procedures.
- Serve as backup to Medical Records to include tasks such as scanning documents, answering the phone, routing calls to appropriate departments or individuals, taking messages as necessary, completing medical releases, receiving and sending faxes.
- May perform other job duties as assigned
Physical Demands
- Lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Able to transport packages, example boxes of paper and various items
