Position Details:
- Position Title: MRI Tech
- Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:00)
- Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts
Description: Are you an experienced MRI Tech looking for an exciting travel opportunity? We have a position in Homer, AK, at South Peninsula Hospital. This is a 13-week assignment starting ASAP, with the potential to extend for another 3 months. The role involves training staff and serving as backup. Siemens experience is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans on patients as per the physician's orders.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including troubleshooting issues.
- Review and evaluate MRI images for quality and clarity.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide diagnostic information.
- Assist in patient preparation and positioning for MRI scans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide training to staff members and serve as backup when needed.
- Follow hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Siemens experience is required.
Qualifications:
- MR and CT certification
- 10+ years of experience
- Siemens experience
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- DOB required
Benefits:
- Competitive pay: Base pay rate $60/hr.-$63./hr.
- Overtime pay: 1.5% for 40 total hours in 1 week OR 8 total hours in a day
- On-call pay: $10.00
- Charge Nurse pay: $5.00
- Required COVID-19 vaccination (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
