• Design and manufacture one-off custom tooling and fixtures
• Set-up, program, and run CNC and manual machining equipment
• Utilize CAD software to document designs and verify feasibility
• Collaborate with machine operators and Engineers to improve manufacturing processes
• Support Maintenance personnel with facility and machine repairs
• Manage small projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial design to final assembly and maintenance
Basic Qualifications
Basic Qualifications :
1. Machine shop experience
2. Parametric solid modeling experience (SolidWorks preferred)
3. CNC programming experience (SolidWorks CAM or MasterCAM preferred)
4. Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
Desired skills
1. Ability to independently set-up, program, and run CNC milling equipment.
2. Ability to set-up and use manual lathe.
3. Machinist Certification and formal CAD training.
4. Experience with CAD design of individual components and assemblies.
5. Experience with tooling and fixture design.
6. Experience with welding processes, such as TIG, MIG, and brazing.
7. Experience with sheet metal fabrication processes.
8. Knowledge of material properties of metals.
9. Experience with quality control practices and use of precision measuring tools.
10. Ability to create blueprints and schematics.
11. Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
12. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
13. Knowledge of mechanical components (bearings, gears, screws, motors, etc.)
14. Ability to independently manage multiple simultaneous projects.
15. Experience with selecting off-the-shelf machine components for use in assemblies

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $43,100 - $82,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
