Job Description
Main job goals
· To program and operate CNC machines for welded fabrications with fixturing
· To ensure CNC machines are programmed and operated to meet quality and safety standards
Main tasks / responsibilities
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
· Program and operate CNC machines using conversational programming language (must know trigonometry and able to fully program parts from scratch)
· Run large mills and set up fixturing for welded fabrications
· Perform precision machining on parts using manual and CNC machines
· Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Follow safety protocols and company policies
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure parts meet specifications
· Clean, de-bur, and tag/mark finished parts
· Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary
· Provides regular reports on part fabrication and machining progress and issues
Education, professional (skills) and language skills
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Technical degree or certificate in machining or a related field
· Proficiency in trigonometry and conversational programming language
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Work experience requirements / Experience in specific working area
· 3-5 years of experience in machining, preferably in an automation manufacturing environment
· Experience programming and operating CNC machines
· Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

Work hours / shift premium
· 4:00pm - 12:30am
· 10% shift premium on top of hourly rate
