Machine Shop Supervisor - M-F 7A-3:30P

Position Summary:

Supervise machinists to assure the parts and product are machined in an efficient and proper manner. Train machinists as required on processes and procedures prior to cutting metal, to assure they have an understanding of the procedures.

Work schedule: M-F 7a-3:30p.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Essential Function-Assure parts are being manufactured correctly, and in a timely manner, to assure customer deliveries are on time.
• Have a good understanding of machining Babbitted bearings, seals and split parts.
• Be able to communicate well, and train others.
• Must have knowledge and ability to run manual and CNC machines, including programming

Experience & Education:

• Must have minimum of 7 years' machining experience.
• 4-6 years managing a shop.
• 1-3 years split parts.
• Must be affluent in both manual machines and CNC mills and lathes.
• CNC programming a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
