Are you mechanically inclined and eager to start a fulfilling career in a thriving Machine Shop? Look no further! Malone Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated individual for a 1st shift Entry-Level Machine Shop Operator. Starting pay is $18/hr and a great location!
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Assist with the production and assembly of machine parts.
- Utilize hand-held tools and change drill bits as needed.
- Lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 40lbs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Job requirements:
- Must be able to use hand-held tools and change drill bits
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read a tape measure to a 16th of an inch.
- Willingness to take a tape measure test as part of the application process.
- Basic Math skills
- Previous experience in a Machine Shop environment is a plus but not required.
