1st shift: 7am-3pm, M-F
2nd shift: 3pm-11pm, M-F (Hourly rate + $1.00/hr shift differential)
3rd Shift: 11pm-7am, Su-Th (Hourly rate + $1.25/hr shift differential)
Weekend shift - Friday, Saturday, Sunday- 12 hour shifts (flexible scheduling) (hourly rate + $2.50 shift differential)
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Operator/Inspector is to provide customers with the highest quality parts possible through manufacturing and inspecting parts following plant procedures, job instructions, quality standards and manufacturing specifications.
Job Duties:
Operation of a wide range of production equipment in accordance with work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Apply mold release and/or cleaning of molds, tools and other production equipment
Responsible for insuring inserts are properly loaded into tools/cavities prior to molding
Process rejected material for review/rework based upon company guidelines
Parts inspection to ensure confirmation of quality standards
Prepare products for shipping
Completion of product documentation, including job tickets, box labels, transfer tags and inspection stamps
Follow all health and safety guidelines within the facility
Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Previous production experience is a plus
Key Competencies:
Effective communication skills
Able to work in a team setting
After training, is able to identify equipment issues and communicate with maintenance personnel
Ability to read and understand English
Proficient in Math
Work Environment:
Duties may include the use of air hoses, cryogenic machines, mixers, notchers, balancers, washers, paint booths, pneumatic drills, opening/closing guns and more
Employee will work under regular supervision and is expected to raise questions and concerns as needed
Due to the nature of the work, production workers must be able to stand for long hours at a time, perform repetitive tasks with minimal supervision and withstand hot temperatures.
A flexible work schedule with the ability to work shifts, overtime and weekend is also required.
