JOB DESCRIPTION
The Reciprocating Line Operator will set up and operate an automated Spray Line, dry oven, and UV curing tunnel to apply Paint and UV coatings to various products. This individual will be responsible for loading chemicals, monitoring operations, and following safety and quality standards. The operator will manage materials, communicate with supervisors, perform preventative maintenance, and strive for continuous improvement. As a reciprocating line operator, you will be required to have excellent math skills so formulas can be followed and adjusted as necessary.
This position will require the employee to train on first shift.
In addition to the above job duties, the reciprocating line operator should be a quick learner, able to pay attention to detail, work under pressure and with precision. Good housekeeping of this work center is an integral part of producing consistent quality as well as improving production efficiencies.
Communication with various team members, from management to peers, is a high priority. Working alongside our team of engineers to improve our processes will allow the applicant to develop skills that encourage growth within Pennwood.
