Machine Operator Helper

We are currently recruiting for third shift Machine Operator Helpers for a manufacturing company in Williamsport. This is an excellent direct placement opportunity!
Requirements:

• Must be able to use basic hand tools, pliers, cutters, overhead hoists, lift trucks, cut-off saws, scrap winding equipment, micrometers, calipers and tape measure.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to work in a noisy, dirty, industrial environment with temperature range from 40-100 degrees.

Key Tasks:

• Must be able to read and understand work instructions
• Maintain production standards
• Communicate operational problems to management

The helpers will work side by side with the Machine Operators and will assist with all phases of operation to keep machines loaded and running. Will be loading rope and strand components into closing machines to safely produce quality wire rope and strand products. The helpers will be expected to grow into a Machine Operator role after mastering all tasks necessary to successfully operate the machines.

Hours:
Sunday: 11pm-7am
Monday-Thursday: 9pm-7am
Pay: $18.33/hr
