Machine Operator Plastics Rotational Molding SECOND SHIFT 3-11PM

Akro-Plastics is looking for reliable, goal striving, and self-motivated individuals to join our team. If you are looking to expand your knowledge in Machine Operating within the manufacturing field come join our team. Experience in manufacturing or a related experience and the physical ability to move/lift/handle parts and molds up to 35 pounds is required for this job. We are looking for candidates to work on both first shift and SECOND SHIFT (7:00am-3:00pm) or (3:00pm-11:00pm).

We offer a potential pay increase after 90 days that is determined by an employee's attendance and their production and scrap rates.

Responsibilities:

• Be fully trained on all aspects of Safety/PPE during and after your initial Safety Training and adhere to them at all times, including location of MSDS reference books. Be aware of necessary Safety Logs and how/when they are to be updated at all required machines.
• Be always willing to accept change and challenges at all times. Work well with others around you to build a teamwork atmosphere.
• Learn safe operation and maintanence of all hand tools necessary to do this jobs
• Keep machine area clean and organized (tools/bolts, etc.) and free of obstructions at all times.
• Strive to learn machine and parts processes and procedures.
• Learn and understand appropriate paperwork associated with production reporting.

Duties:

• Fully understand the care of molds/implications etc.
• Fully understand and apply the correct weighing of charge powder/scale knowledge
• Fully understand the use of Temperature Guns.
• Learn how to apply mold release graphics and inserts
• Learn the proper removing and handling of parts
• Learn the care of Teflon coated molds
• Continually learn and work to comply with all responsibilities and to upgrade skills and knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
