What you will do Under general supervision operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping accurate production records and maintenance logs.
Responsibilities
- Will work from engineering drawings and/or specifications.
- Will be required to comply with and maintain documentation and records.
- May determine tool offsets and load tooling into machinery at correct settings.
- May use precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet engineering specifications.
- Will assist maintenance personnel with routine maintenance.
- Will train others on operational and/or documentation procedures.
What you will need:
- High School Diploma required.
- 2+ years related Machine Operating experience required.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds of force frequently, or 20 pounds of force constantly required.
- Ability to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (e.g. in the printed word, etc.) preferred.
- General understanding of GD&T preferred.
- Experience with Citizen L20 or DMG Mori NZX machines is a huge plus!
